Frequently asked about price
How much does it cost to charter a superyacht per week?
As a 2026 benchmark, a 30–40m motor yacht charters for €120,000–€250,000 per week, a 50m for €400,000–€600,000, a 70m for €700,000–€950,000 and a 100m+ for €2M and above. Add 25–35% APA for fuel, food and port fees, plus VAT and a 5–15% crew gratuity.
Why are superyacht charter prices quoted per week?
Owners contract on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis in high season because crew rotation, provisioning and berth bookings are built around it. Shorter charters of three to five nights are possible in shoulder season and in the Arabian Gulf, usually at a pro-rata rate plus a short-charter premium.
Is the Arabian Gulf cheaper than the Mediterranean?
Typically 10–20% cheaper for comparable yachts. Fuel is less expensive, VAT is 5% rather than 10–22%, and the season is longer, so owners price more competitively outside the December–April peak.
What is the cheapest way to charter a superyacht?
Charter in shoulder season (May, late September, October in the Mediterranean), accept the yacht's current position to avoid delivery fees, stay at anchor rather than in marinas, and consider a sailing yacht or catamaran, which carry lower fuel and berth costs than a comparable motor yacht.
