Official hurricane season runs June–November. Charter contracts written for that window typically carry a force-majeure clause and yachts reposition north or south by July.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak weeks (August in the Mediterranean, Christmas / New Year in the Caribbean) book 9–12 months ahead. For shoulder season or off-peak regions, 6–10 weeks is usually enough to secure a good yacht.

Is the crew included in the price?

Yes. The advertised weekly fee covers the yacht, full crew, and use of all on-board equipment. Crew gratuity (5–15% of the base fee) and running costs (APA) are separate.
